EDESİS BİLİŞİM LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (formerly SINAVZA EĞİTİM VE BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ LTD. ŞTİ.) (“Edesis”, “we”, “us”) operates the
Edesis school management platform (available at edesis.com and institution-specific
subdomains) and the sınavza EDS mobile application (together, the “Service”). The
Service is provided to educational institutions (“Institutions”) and their staff, students and
parents.
This page informs visitors and users of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of
Personal Information. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in
accordance with this policy. We do not use or share your information with anyone except as described in
this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
To provide the Service, we process the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, surname, username, e-mail address and role, created for
Institution staff, students and parents. - Educational records: enrolment, class, exam, attendance, homework and payment records
entered by the Institution. For these records the Institution is the data controller and Edesis acts as
a data processor on the Institution’s behalf. - Communication data: messages and notifications sent or received through the Service,
including SMS and WhatsApp communications described below.
WhatsApp Business Communications (Meta Platform Data)
The Service allows Institutions to connect their own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)
to the platform through Meta’s WhatsApp Embedded Signup flow and to communicate with
parents and students over WhatsApp using Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). In this context
we receive and process the following data from Meta (“Platform Data”):
- WhatsApp Business Account identifiers, connected phone numbers, message templates and their approval
status, and account quality information; - business access tokens obtained during Embedded Signup, which we store encrypted and use solely to
operate the connected WABA on the Institution’s behalf; - the basic public profile of the Institution administrator who authorises the connection via Facebook
Login for Business (we request no other login permissions); - inbound and outbound WhatsApp messages, delivery and read status events, and the WhatsApp profile
name and phone number of message senders, delivered to us via webhooks.
We use Platform Data only to provide the Service to the Institution: sending approved template
notifications (e.g. payment reminders, exam results, attendance information), receiving and answering
parent messages in a team inbox within the 24-hour customer service window, and managing the
Institution’s templates and phone numbers.
Recipients can opt out at any time (for example by replying “STOP”), and opt-out requests are
honoured automatically.
We do not sell Platform Data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties
except the processors listed below. Messages exchanged over WhatsApp are also processed by Meta Platforms,
Inc. under its own terms and privacy policy.
Data Processors and Hosting
We use the following service providers, which may have access to Personal Information solely to perform
tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose:
- Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Azure): cloud infrastructure. Application servers,
databases and file storage are hosted in the Azure West Europe region (Netherlands). Data may be accessed
remotely from Türkiye by authorised Edesis personnel. - Meta Platforms, Inc.: WhatsApp Business Platform, used to transmit WhatsApp messages
as described above. - Google (Google Play Services) and Apple (App Store): used by the mobile application;
see their privacy policies.
Log Data and Cookies
Whenever you use our Service, in case of an error we collect data and information (through third-party
products) called Log Data. This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version,
app configuration, and the time and date of your use of the Service. The web platform uses session cookies
required for sign-in; the mobile app does not use cookies explicitly, but may include third-party libraries
that do. You may refuse cookies, but some portions of the Service may then be unavailable.
Data Retention and Deletion
Personal Information is retained for as long as the Institution maintains an active contract with us and
as required by applicable law. WhatsApp message logs are retained so that Institutions can view their own
communication history. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at
bilgi@sinavza.com, or, for data obtained through Meta, via the data deletion mechanism we
provide to Meta. Deletion requests concerning educational records managed by an Institution are forwarded
to that Institution as data controller.
Security
We use commercially acceptable means to protect Personal Information, including encrypted transmission
(HTTPS), encrypted storage of access tokens, and role-based access control. However, no method of
transmission or storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
The Service processes student records, including records of children, only on behalf of and under the
instructions of the contracting Institution, which obtains any legally required consents from parents or
guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 outside this
institutional context. Parents may direct questions or objections to their Institution or to us at
bilgi@sinavza.com.
Your Rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the
right to learn whether your data is processed, to request access, correction or deletion, and to object to
processing. Requests can be sent to bilgi@sinavza.com.

The Service may contain links to other sites not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the
privacy policy of any site you visit; we assume no responsibility for third-party content or practices.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page. We
advise you to review this page periodically.

alt alan adlarında sunulan Edesis okul yönetim platformu ile sınavza EDS
mobil uygulamasını (birlikte “Hizmet”) işletmektedir. Hizmet; eğitim kurumlarına (“Kurumlar”) ve
bunların personeline, öğrencilerine ve velilerine sunulur.
Bu sayfa, Kişisel Bilgilerin toplanması, kullanılması ve açıklanmasına ilişkin politikalarımız hakkında
ziyaretçileri ve kullanıcıları bilgilendirir. Hizmeti kullanarak bilgilerin bu politikaya uygun şekilde
toplanmasını ve kullanılmasını kabul etmiş olursunuz. Bilgilerinizi bu Gizlilik Politikasında
açıklananlar dışında kullanmayız ve kimseyle paylaşmayız.
Bilgi Toplama ve Kullanımı
Hizmeti sunabilmek için aşağıdaki bilgi kategorilerini işleriz:
- Hesap bilgileri: Kurum personeli, öğrenci ve veliler için oluşturulan ad, soyad,
kullanıcı adı, e-posta adresi ve rol bilgisi. - Eğitim kayıtları: Kurum tarafından girilen kayıt, sınıf, sınav, devamsızlık, ödev ve
ödeme kayıtları. Bu kayıtlar bakımından veri sorumlusu Kurumdur; Edesis, Kurum adına veri işleyen
sıfatıyla hareket eder. - İletişim verileri: Aşağıda açıklanan SMS ve WhatsApp iletişimleri dahil olmak üzere
Hizmet üzerinden gönderilen veya alınan mesaj ve bildirimler.
WhatsApp Business İletişimleri (Meta Platform Verileri)
Hizmet, Kurumların kendi WhatsApp Business Hesaplarını (WABA) Meta’nın
WhatsApp Embedded Signup akışıyla platforma bağlamasına ve Meta’nın WhatsApp Business
Platformu (Cloud API) üzerinden veli ve öğrencilerle WhatsApp yoluyla iletişim kurmasına olanak tanır. Bu
kapsamda Meta’dan aşağıdaki verileri (“Platform Verileri”) alır ve işleriz:
- WhatsApp Business Hesabı tanımlayıcıları, bağlı telefon numaraları, mesaj şablonları ve onay
durumları ile hesap kalite bilgileri; - Embedded Signup sırasında alınan ve şifreli olarak sakladığımız, yalnızca bağlı WABA’yı Kurum adına
işletmek için kullandığımız erişim token’ları; - bağlantıyı Facebook Login for Business ile yetkilendiren Kurum yöneticisinin temel herkese açık
profili (başka hiçbir login izni talep etmeyiz); - webhook’lar aracılığıyla iletilen gelen/giden WhatsApp mesajları, iletim ve okunma durumu
olayları ile mesaj gönderenlerin WhatsApp profil adı ve telefon numarası.
Platform Verilerini yalnızca Hizmeti Kuruma sunmak için kullanırız: onaylı şablonlarla bildirim
gönderimi (ör. ödeme hatırlatması, sınav sonucu, devamsızlık bilgisi), 24 saatlik müşteri hizmeti
penceresi içinde veli mesajlarının ekip gelen kutusunda alınıp yanıtlanması ve Kurumun şablon ile telefon
numaralarının yönetimi.

Platform Verilerini satmayız, reklam amacıyla kullanmayız ve aşağıda listelenen veri işleyenler
dışında üçüncü taraflarla paylaşmayız. WhatsApp üzerinden iletilen mesajlar ayrıca Meta Platforms, Inc.
tarafından kendi şartları ve gizlilik politikası kapsamında işlenir.
Veri İşleyenler ve Barındırma
Kişisel Bilgilere yalnızca bizim adımıza görev yapmak için erişebilen ve bu bilgileri başka amaçla
kullanmama yükümlülüğü altında olan şu hizmet sağlayıcılarla çalışırız:
- Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Azure): bulut altyapısı. Uygulama sunucuları,
veritabanları ve dosya depolama Azure Batı Avrupa bölgesinde (Hollanda) barındırılır. Verilere yetkili
Edesis personeli tarafından Türkiye’den uzaktan erişilebilir. - Meta Platforms, Inc.: WhatsApp mesajlarının iletiminde kullanılan WhatsApp Business
Platformu. - Google (Google Play Hizmetleri) ve Apple (App Store): mobil uygulama tarafından
kullanılır; ilgili gizlilik politikalarına bakınız.
Günlük Verileri ve Çerezler
Hizmeti kullandığınızda, bir hata durumunda (üçüncü taraf ürünler aracılığıyla) Günlük Verileri adı
verilen veri ve bilgileri toplarız. Bunlar; cihaz IP adresi, cihaz adı, işletim sistemi sürümü, uygulama
yapılandırması ile Hizmeti kullandığınız tarih ve saat bilgilerini içerebilir. Web platformu, oturum
açmak için gerekli oturum çerezlerini kullanır; mobil uygulama açıkça çerez kullanmaz ancak çerez
kullanan üçüncü taraf kütüphaneler içerebilir. Çerezleri reddedebilirsiniz; bu durumda Hizmetin bazı
bölümleri kullanılamayabilir.
Verilerin Saklanması ve Silinmesi
Kişisel Bilgiler, Kurumun bizimle aktif sözleşmesi devam ettiği sürece ve yürürlükteki mevzuatın
gerektirdiği süre boyunca saklanır. WhatsApp mesaj kayıtları, Kurumların kendi iletişim geçmişlerini
görebilmesi için tutulur. Kişisel verilerinizin silinmesini dilediğiniz zaman
bilgi@sinavza.com adresinden veya Meta üzerinden elde edilen veriler için Meta’ya
sunduğumuz veri silme mekanizması aracılığıyla talep edebilirsiniz. Kurum tarafından yönetilen eğitim
kayıtlarına ilişkin silme talepleri, veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla ilgili Kuruma iletilir.
Güvenlik
Kişisel Bilgileri korumak için şifreli iletim (HTTPS), erişim token’larının şifreli saklanması ve
rol tabanlı erişim kontrolü dahil ticari olarak kabul görmüş yöntemler kullanırız. Bununla birlikte hiçbir
iletim veya saklama yöntemi %100 güvenli değildir; mutlak güvenlik garanti edilemez.
Çocukların Gizliliği
Hizmet; çocuklara ait kayıtlar dahil öğrenci kayıtlarını yalnızca sözleşmeli Kurum adına ve onun
talimatları doğrultusunda işler. Veli veya vasilerden alınması gereken yasal onayların temini Kurumun
sorumluluğundadır. Bu kurumsal bağlam dışında 13 yaş altı çocuklardan bilerek doğrudan kişisel bilgi
toplamayız. Veliler soru ve itirazlarını Kurumlarına veya bilgi@sinavza.com adresine iletebilir.
Haklarınız
6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve uygulanabildiği ölçüde GDPR kapsamında;
verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, erişim, düzeltme veya silme talep etme ve işlemeye itiraz
etme hakkına sahipsiniz. Taleplerinizi bilgi@sinavza.com adresine iletebilirsiniz.
